A key part in all change management projects is the communication to the various internal and external stakeholder groups. The first step is always to define your stakeholders. This in itself can be an interesting exercise (many are sure they know all their stakeholders, but do they..?). Based on the stakeholders, a communication plan is drafted. This plan answers questions like: what is the ‘setting’ for each stakeholder group; at what level are they involved; what are their specific (communication) needs? Your ultimate goal is to communicate your goals & actions to all your stakeholders in a way they understand, that appeals to them and, basically gets them to understand and/or accept your message.
Stakeholder communication is essential to most consulting & interim management assignments and something that our experts are well equipped to assist you with.
